Temporary Credit Control D22 Temporary

Our client is based on the Naas Road, Dublin 22 and is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Temporary Credit Control Specialist to join their finance team for the months of July and August to cover annual leave.

Salary is €17 – €22 per hour depending on experience.

DUTIES OF THE ROLE :

• Manage the credit control function effectively during the absence of regular credit control staff.
• Perform regular follow-ups with customers to ensure prompt payment of outstanding invoices.
• Investigate and resolve any payment discrepancies or billing issues promptly.
• Review customer credit applications and perform credit checks to determine creditworthiness.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers to facilitate prompt payment and address any queries or concerns.
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate allocation of payments and reconciliation of accounts.
• Identify and escalate high-risk accounts to senior management for further action.
• Assist with any ad-hoc finance tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in credit control or a similar finance role.
• Strong knowledge of credit control principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities.
