Technical Sales Engineer (HVAC) / Dublin West 

Our client is a global manufacturer who work to a very high standard.  Seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join the residential team and cover the Munster and Leinster territory.  

Salary: €45K – €55K plus 20% bonus, car and benefits.

The Role:

• Identify prospective new contractors/stakeholders in the residential retrofit/energy upgrade industry (Local authorities, social housing and private dwellings)
• Visit existing and prospective customers/carry out site surveys to support retrofit projects
• Analyse the market (trends, competitors, customers, prospects, funding & incentives)
• Ensure development and strengthening of installer/customer network
• Responsibility for sales budget; creating/giving input for individual sales budget
• Lead follow-up and keeping track of the internal budget based on quotations & orders
• Customer relationship, act as a first point of contact
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with (potential) customers; support customers in terms of their promotion in the local market
• Attending B2B and B2C exhibitions and trade shows
• Making product selections & specifications in line with the customer’s needs; provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, account & sales support
• Provide product & commercial trainings
• Liaising closely with other company departments to ensure customer expectations are met (in terms of quality, service and timescale) 

The Candidate:

• 3^rd Level Degree in engineering/building services or similar.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the HVAC.
• Knowledge of building regs, NZEB, compliance, SEAI funding & Local Authority Frame Works
• Strong communicator, negotiation skills and excellent knowledge of the English language required.
• Excellent IT Skills (Min: PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, SAP/CRM)
