Our client is a multi-nation company who are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant / Tax Manager to join their business. The role will be based in their Irish Head office in Dublin 24. You will report to a European Tax Manager. The company offer’s a hybrid work model.

In this role, you will be responsible for all tax matters in Ireland. If you enjoy building relationships and analysing data, this is an excellent opportunity to join our Global Tax function, share valuable experience and practices, and represent the company in front of Tax authorities.

The Role:

• Implement tax strategy, measures to mitigate tax risks, and tax risk analyses; prepare and implement tax policies and procedures, including JSOX controls in the tax area
• Lead the cooperation with tax authorities and consultants, liaise with tax authorities on tax compliance, tax audits and other requests
• Manage the company’s excise compliance and timely submission of all tax reports with regard to excise liability, bonded warehouse reconciliation and tax stamp management
• Lead the company’s tax compliance with the relevant tax law and practice including timely submission of the tax returns (CIT, VAT, property tax, WHT); manage and lead the group’s tax reporting
• Support the maintenance of existing transfer pricing strategies and structures; oversee the preparation of the transfer price documentation in line with local tax regulations and global policies
• Provide internal tax advisory (in particular VAT, CIT, excise, transfer pricing, property tax); analyse flows of goods and services from a tax point of view and advice on all tax matters; lead and coordinate tax-driven business initiatives locally or globally

The Person:

• We trust that 3+ years of experience in Domestic taxes in a similar position will set you up for success; international tax knowledge and shared service experience are a plus
• Accounting and SAP knowledge is an advantage
• You enjoy analysing data and think critically over the findings
• Your excellent interpersonal skills help you in building strong relationships with key stakeholders
• A confident MS Office user
• We work in English
• A Degree in Tax, Law or Finance; a professional tax/accounting qualification is a plus
