Our client is a very well-established distribution company seeking a Supply & Demand Planner to join their team.  Salary: circa €40K all doe.  Flexible hybrid working model.

The Role:

• Manage supply in line with demand forecast & company set targets using ERP system
• Monitoring of orders placed ensuring timely arrival on site and managing any issues
• Proactively developing alternative solutions to minimize any stock outages
• Supplier relationship development
• Monitor actual vendor performance against schedules.
• Balance of inventory levels in line with business requirements for continued supply, with a view towards optimum stock holding and reduced costs.
• Strong relationship building with suppliers in order to achieve maximum SLA’s
• Manage request for stock outside of forecast and manage flow of orders which have exceeded agreed forecast.
• Company wide communication with purchasing and sales reporting low availability of stock & potential future known issues
• Contribute to the forecast through ongoing trend analysis of actual stock movement, taking action as required.
• Administration on data – purchase orders, agreement terms, inventory and forecasting reports

The Candidate:

• Strong Supply & Demand Planner experience
• Relevant qualification desirable
• Very proficient with ERP systems and advance Excel
• Ability to build good relationships with suppliers
• Strong organisational and administration skills
