Software Project Manager – Agile

Our clients, a large hospital, are looking for recruit an experienced Project Manager to work as part of their IT team, to assist with an on-going software delivery project. The project will focus on managing the 3^rd party vendor, with particular emphasis on managing budgets and resource consumption.  This is an immediate start, and will initially be a 3-month contract, which may be extended.

The person:

• A third level or equivalent degree (NFQ Level 8).
• A Certified Project Management qualification e.g. Prince 2 Practitioner/PMP
• Agile background essential
• Software Delivery experience is also essential.
• Strong communication skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and presentation skills
• The ability to work to deadlines
• Proven track record in successful project delivery.
• Experience of leading hospital ICT projects including Software delivery, budget / Resource management, system implementation, planning & scheduling, issue tracking/remediation, risk analysis, would be an advantage
• Knowledge of Record Management Systems an advantage.
