Our client is a world leader in its field.  Based in Baldonnell Business Park, Dublin 22, they are committed to providing top-notch services to their clients nationwide. They are currently recruiting for a highly motivated and organized Service Coordinator to join their busy and dynamic team of three.

Salary: €40,000 per annum, plus bonus, pension and healthcare

THE ROLE

As a member of the Service Coordinator team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient scheduling of work for our team of approximately 30 engineers located throughout the country. You will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing service schedules to meet client needs, ensuring timely response to service requests, and maintaining high-quality service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Scheduling and Dispatch: Efficiently schedule service assignments for a team of engineers, considering geographical locations, skills, and urgency of service requests.
2. Client Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication regarding service schedules, delays, and any other relevant information.
3. Resource Allocation: Monitor and manage the allocation of resources, including engineers, equipment, and materials, to optimize service delivery.
4. Quality Control: Ensure that all services are delivered in compliance with company standards and client requirements.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service schedules, assignments, and completion status for reporting and auditing purposes.
6. Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, resource constraints, and service delivery issues.
7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the engineering team, providing them with necessary information, schedules, and support to enhance overall efficiency.
8. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in implementing them to enhance service coordination efficiency.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Previous experience in a service coordination or scheduling role is essential.
• Good geographical knowledge of Ireland.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in using scheduling and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, scheduling software).
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
