Sales Operations Product Manager
Our client is a leading provider of financial products and services across Europe from their offices located in South West Dublin. They have successfully expanded their Irish operations in recent years and have further strategic growth plans. This is an excellent opportunity to become a key player in their local operations.
This role has been created to support the delivery of further growth through leading tactical and strategic decision-making support to sales, marketing and new product development teams.
The role will play a key part in providing market analysis and insights to the commercial, marketing and NPD teams.
Duties and Responsibilities will include the following:
-Partnering with the sales teams in the budgeting and forecasting process
-Assist with the creation of new tenders and proposals to the European sales team
-Providing business analysis support to commercial teams where market reviews are required for customer presentations
-Identify and develop appropriate training needs / workshops for sales team
-Supporting commercial teams in the implementation of sales force efficiency to deliver a comprehensive suite of reports on an as needed basis
– Supporting the development of sales initiatives and marketing plans
-Creatively design of new sales and marketing programmes for the various European markets
-Champion the promotion of new sales initiatives and run incentive programmes
-Astutely create new financial products and ensure profitable pricing structures
-Review customer loyalty programmes and modify to optimise business performance
-Reviewing ongoing levels of customer service and ensure smooth flows within the sales & marketing areas
-Support regional managers by identifying new financial products / solutions
-Champion the adoption of new best practice within the sales and marketing functions
-Supporting new financial product development
-Provide analytical support and insights to the regional management teams
-Ensure new contracts are referred onto legal advisors to ensure they are robust
– Manage a small team
Experience & profile:
-Candidates will ideally hold a Third level degree in Business or Marketing
-Previous experience in a sales / marketing / NPD solutions role/ or a sales force effectiveness role
-Proven analytical and commercial mindset, ability to interpret financial data and provide insights in a commercial context
-Strong communications skills and capable to present in a concise manner to both customers and commercial teams within the organisation
-Strong software / IT skills & willingness to further develop competency (Ms Office Suite)
-Fluency in English is essential and ideally a good knowledge of another European language desirable
Other Information:
-Based in South West Dublin but expected to entail some travel
