Our client is a highly reputable FMCG company seeking a Sales Supervisor to manage all internal sales office functions leading a team of 4.  Salary: €35K – €40K all doe.  Dublin Northside. 

The Role: 

• Lead the day to day activities of the sales office.
• Fulfilling all cross departmental needs as well as liaising with retail customers
• Manage the ongoing operations of the sales office to appropriate standards of quality, safety, security and service delivery.
• Contribute to suggestions for improvements in operational effectiveness and efficiency
• Oversee commercial strategy with sales management with both existing and potential new customers / principals
• Establish the key metrics by which the organisation’s progress to improving efficiency and effectiveness in strategic achievement can be measured and managed.
• Drive a culture that promotes an increasingly innovative, flexible, responsive, commercially aware, customer and profit-driven organisation
• Monitor customer perceptions of service delivery in terms of reliability, value for money, and responsiveness, to ensure that there is continuous, measured improvement.
• Ensure that policies, procedures and programmes are in place which promote harmonious employee relations.
• Provide strong leadership to the development and roll-out of strategies to maintain and promote a commercial ethic and a dedication to superior service quality throughout the sales office workforce.
• Liaise with third party warehouse providers to ensure that product deliveries are in line with agreed delivery schedules

The Candidate:

• Strong IT skills
• Excellent problem solving and teamwork approach
• Flexibility and organisational skills
• Strong relevant experience in a similar role preferable
• People management
• Experience with ERP systems plus good working knowledge of Excel is desirable
