Process / Equipment Validation Engineer

Our Client, who provide Process Engineering Support to companies in the Pharma sector, are looking to recruit a Process Engineer.

You will provide engineering support in developing new or improving existing equipment and/or process related activities. You will define or assist in defining existing process equipment into product  contact/non-product  contact and specifications based on process requirements, safety requirements and customer needs.

The Person:

• Hold a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in production, manufacturing/ chemical/ process engineering.
• 4 years’ experience in relevant engineering role
• Prior experience in a GMP or medical device manufacturing environment
• Prior experience in equipment and process validation activities
• Process development experience
• Familiar with ISO safety standards
• Previous experience in the use of statistical techniques (Green /Black belt) advantage
• Familiarity with equipment validation in a busy manufacturing environment (Life Science environment an advantage)
• Ability to apply a scientific approach to problem solving
• Scheduling experience for Project tasks/completion
