As an Experienced Accountant, you will join our medium-sized accounting firm and play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive Accounting and Auditing services to our diverse client base. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your accounting career and contribute to the growth of the practice. The company offers flexible working arrangements, but candidates must be available to visits client offices when required.

The Role:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering exceptional customer service and acting as a trusted advisor.
• Assist clients with Audit, Accounts Preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support their business objectives.
• Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Provide financial advisory services to clients, analysing financial data, and offering recommendations for business improvement and growth opportunities.
• Stay up to date with changes in accounting regulations, tax laws, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and provide accurate advice to clients.
• Collaborate with senior team members to assist with audits, financial reviews, and due diligence processes.

The Person:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Qualified accountant with a professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA.
• Experience working in a professional accounting practice or firm.
• Audit experience
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and high ethical standards.
