Our clients, a state body, are looking to recruit a Operations Analyst This is a permanent role, with an excellent opportunity to join a progressive agency.

As an Operations Analyst, you will be a versatile, proactive and curious analyst with a proven application of strong research, analytical and evaluation skills.

The Role:

• Provide assistance to the review of the designation of the service provider(s), with particular focus on operations and efficiency analysis.
• A Review of the service obligations and conditions, with a particular focus on postal operations.
• Monitoring of compliance of the designated service provider(s) legal and regulatory obligations in providing the service.
• Monitoring of the service provider’s performance on quality of service and preparing annual publications on the monitor results. Where required, assisting on procurement engagements of independent Quality of Service Monitor Operators, and ongoing contractual matters.
• Reviewing applications from service provider(s) for any derogations

The Person:

• Qualification in logistics, supply chain or engineering and/or demonstrate equivalent experience
• Experience of assessing complex operational data from a variety of sources with a proven ability to assimilate complex legal and factual situations to provide clear practical advice
• Proven ability to analyse and manipulate date from a variety of sources
• Confident and articulate with the ability to communicate complex information simply and respectfully
• Proven drafting skills with the ability to prepare briefing, reports and documents in a rational, evidence-based, clear and concise manner
• Experience of being part of a multidisciplinary project team environment in an organisation with a strong culture of delivery.
• Proven ability to manage small to medium size projects to successful outcomes
• Curious and resilient with motivation to succeed in the role and deliver results
• Takes individual responsibility and uses considered judgement to take action when required
