Our client is a highly reputable FMCG Brand Distributor. Based in Dublin West. Salary: Circa €45K doe plus bonus.

The Role:

• Manage the current Grocery Key Account Portfolio
• Business development
• Develop and grow a network base of supportive key contacts at decision-making level
• Develop profitable business solutions and negotiate with the customers
• Achieving sales targets
• Sales plan development providing regular sales forecasts
• Identify any potential threats and implement corrective measures.
• To be a strong advocate for the company, brands & services
• To understand the customer, industry, products and competitors
• To develop strong customer relationships within the structure of the business from commercial team, merchandising, operations and store managers
• Oversee the grocery field sales team to ensure the customers and company KPI’s are carried out
• Provide regular contact and business reports
• Liaise effectively with relevant teams and work cross functionally

The Successful Candidate:

• Very strong account management experience in a similar sector.
• New business development experience working within a team
• Strong customer relationships
• Commercially focussed and have a strong track record of achieving and surpassing revenue targets.
• You will manage your customer expectations of what is and isn’t possible within their timeframes and budget.
• You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
