Key Account Executive / Foodservice FMCG

Our client is a very well established highly reputable FMCG company based in Dublin West.  Seeking a KAE to join their team who are hugely supportive.  This is a great opportunity for someone who is seeking a career move.  Salary: €40K-€45K plus excellent commission, company bonus, benefits, car or car allowance.  

The Role:

• Responsible for customer, channel sales, brand/product availability and trading contribution (TC) in Foodservice customers in our HORCEA (hotel, restaurant, catering) Channel.
• Development of channel and key customer account plans in HORECA
• Achievement of targets for forecast / budget Revenue, volume, TC
• Delivery of forecast on time and accurately in HORECA
• Delivery of great joint business plans (JBP’s) that deliver customer forecast revenue and TC
• Working alongside the National account manager (NAM) & Key account manager (KAM) to achieve delivery of forecast / budget Revenue, TC, average retail price (ARP)/ Volume
• Assisting the NAM & KAM to achieve budgets in HORECA
• Control of cost, pricing and trade spend in HORECA.
• Implement JBP’s that deliver TC and improved ARP through better customer performance in HORECA.
• Development of cost effective and insight driven promotional plans in conjunction with Customer Trade Marketing and insight team
• Development of optimum range of new and core product listing in each account in HORECA

The Candidate:

• Ideally a 3rd level degree
• Knowledge of Foodservice industry, products, channels, and competition
• Sales experience in FMCG environment would be ideal
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Strong financial acumen
• Commercial awareness and proven Negotiation skills
• Strong cross functional skills
• Strong IT skills particularly Excel (essential) and administration skills
• Full clean driving licence is essential
