Insurance Personal Lines Specialist D1

Our client is recruiting for an experienced Insurance Personal Lines Specialist to join their dynamic & expanding team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients by offering and managing personal lines insurance policies. This role requires a deep understanding of insurance products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong client relationships.

This is a permanent role, based in Dublin 1 and salary is €35 – €39k pa plus health, pension and life assurance.

Responsibilities:

1. Client Consultation: Provide expert advice to clients on personal lines insurance products, including auto, home, renters, and umbrella policies.
2. Policy Management: Review and analyze existing policies to ensure clients have appropriate coverage and make necessary recommendations or adjustments.
3. New Policy Sales: Develop and present insurance quotes tailored to the individual needs of clients. Close sales and ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
4. Customer Service: Address client inquiries, claims, and policy changes promptly, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
5. Market Research: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, insurance regulations, and emerging products to better serve clients.
6. Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of client interactions, policies, and transactions.
7. Networking: Establish and maintain relationships with insurance carriers to leverage resources and negotiate favorable terms for clients.

Requirements:

1. Experience: A minimum of 4 years experience in personal lines insurance sales and service.
2. Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of various personal lines insurance products and policies.
3. Sales Skills: Proven ability to sell insurance products and meet or exceed sales targets.
4. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
5. Customer-Centric: Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.
6. Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
