Financial Controller

Our client, a growing environmental business based in Dublin 24, is seeking to recruit an experienced Financial Controller to join their finance team. Reporting to the Head of Finance and managing a team of 4, this is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional. The role is hybrid with 3 days in the office per week.

The Role:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts.
• Deliver budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Monitor financial performance and provide commercial insights to the business.
• Maintain strong financial controls across cash management, debtors, payments and reconciliations.
• Oversee treasury management and cash flow.
• Ensure VAT and Corporation Tax compliance.
• Maintain and develop Microsoft Business Central reporting and controls.
• Partner with operational teams on budgets and expenditure.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team.
• Support audit processes and Audit & Risk Committee requirements.

The Person:

• Qualified Accountant with 5+ years’ PQE.
• Experience within a commercial, service-driven business environment.
• Strong management accounts, budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Proven team management skills.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent IT skills including MS Office, Power BI and Microsoft Business Central.
