Financial Accountant –Citywest – Hybrid

Our clients, part of a Multi-national group based in Dublin 24, are looking to recruit an experienced Accountant to join a Finance team who will looking after reporting for their European and Australian businesses. This is a Permanent role.

The Role:

• Responsibility for the monthly reporting of one or more of our entities and other group companies (dependent on business needs)
• Involvement in the preparation of Annual Budgets and 3 Year plan preparation.
• Intercompany Account reconciliation
• Preparation of Statutory Accounts
• Corporation tax and VAT returns
• Liaising with Auditors and Tax Advisors
• Developing reports and implementing system changes
• Provision of Management Information Reports and KPI’s for management
• Support local leasing operations across Europe and Australia
• Assisting in management of Lease portfolio

The candidate:

• A qualified accountant with 2 years PQE
• Experience of a multi-national environment ideal, but would also at a Practice Accountant looking to move to industry.
• The person must be a good communicator with strong attention to detail
• Commercially Focused –be able to add value to the business
• Ability to achieve strict reporting deadlines
• Ability to speak French is an advantage but not essential
• Team Player but can work on their own as required
• Strong IT skill (Excel, Word, Data Warehouse)
• Experience of SAP financial package (FICO module).
• Experience of Hyperion Reporting package
• Ability to travel abroad on occasion for group meetings, conferences etc.
