Our Dublin City Centre. based clients are an outstandingly successful Professional services business. They are now seeking an experienced Finance Director to join their team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Management and development of the Finance Team
• Oversee the preparation of Financial and Management Accounts to deadline
• Accurate Cash forecasting and Management
• Ensure statutory compliance, and prepare statutory returns
• Management and co-ordination of company insurances
• Control all aspects of Fleet Management
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register
• Ensure Tax compliance of Business
• Being part of the Executive Management team, and bringing Financial input to strategic decisions in relation to the company’s ongoing and future success
• This role will also have management responsibility for all support functions including IT, HR, Facilities and Support Services. The Heads of each of these departments will report to the Financial Director
• Dealing and negotiating with external parties such as Auditors, Banks, Insurers etc.
• Management of all corporate reporting processes

The Candidate:

• The candidate be a Professionally Qualified Accountant.
• Experience in the Professional Services or Legal Sector a distinct advantage
• A proven capability to operate at a strategic level and possessing the in-depth skills and expertise to promote and manage the day-to-day operations.
• Leadership skill and ability plus change management experience.
• Ability to manage up as well as down.
• Capable of generating respect and trust from staff, Partners and key stakeholders.
• Sets and executes high performance standards
• Demonstrates an energetic, self motivated and flexible approach in all matters
