Our client, a leading Multi-national firm in the Automotive sector, is seeking to recruit a Financial Business Partner to join their finance team.

As a Finance Business Partner within the Group Finance department, your primary responsibility will be collaborating closely with the brand teams to provide strategic financial insights and guidance. Your role will be pivotal in achieving impressive sales figures and optimising market positions for our brands. Reporting directly to the Group Finance Department, you will leverage your financial expertise to empower decision-making and contribute to the overall financial success of the organization.

The Role:

•  Collaborate closely with the Brand Directors and their teams to provide financial expertise, insights, and recommendations to enhance the brand’s financial performance.
• Develop, prepare, and communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, budgets, and forecasts to both local management and international headquarters.
• Manage marketing budgets, tactical initiatives, and factory support for the brands, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with financial goals.
• Ensure comprehensive inclusion of all brand expenditures within the budget, offering financial oversight and control.
• Analyse financial data to identify opportunities for performance improvement and potential problem areas, providing actionable recommendations.
• Act as a liaison between the Group Finance department and brand teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring compliance with internal control procedures.
• Review and maintain accuracy in credit and debit note accounting within the department.
• Actively in internal processes and projects, providing financial input for initiatives such as system upgrades and business cases.

The Person:

• A relevant 3rd-level degree and/or professional accountancy qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) and a demonstrated track record of financial experience.
• Thorough understanding of the motor industry and its financial dynamics, and advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and a proactive approach to individual tasks.
• Demonstrated strategic financial acumen and analytical mindset.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to provide financial insights to drive business growth.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and modelling.
• Strong presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of SAP/Module CO is advantageous.
