Field Service Engineer – Catering Equipment

Our client, a well-established and growing organisation within the commercial catering equipment sector, is looking to recruit a number of Field Service Engineers to join their expanding team.

They are recognised for delivering large-scale projects, strong technical capability, and a responsive service to a broad client base.

This is a field-based role covering the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, offering excellent variety across installation, maintenance, and repair work.

The Role:

• Install and commission commercial catering equipment at client sites
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across a range of equipment
• Service and repair electrical, gas, and refrigeration-based systems
• Diagnose faults across electrical, mechanical, gas, and refrigeration systems
• Identify root causes and implement effective technical solutions
• Complete service reports accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in an on-call rota providing out-of-hours support
• Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times

The Candidate:

• Electrical qualification or strong electrical background is essential
• Experience in field service, maintenance, or a similar technical role
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Full clean driving licence
• Experience working with commercial catering equipment an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel and undertake ongoing training
• Basic plumbing knowledge
