Oue clients, part of a large Irish PLC, are looking to recruit an Environmental Officer to join their team in their west Dublin soil intake plant

The Role:

• Assist in the day to day operation of EPA waste licenced facilities for the recovery of inert soil and stone
• Sampling and assessment of sites from which inert soil and stone may be accepted
• Compliance with all conditions of 4 EPA Licenced Inert Waste Recovery Facilities
• Recording, documenting and reporting the environmental performance of the licences/C&D
• Liaise with all stakeholders including the EPA, Local Authority, Management, customers, contractors and staff
• Track and trace imported materials for recovery
• Assist in establishing Construction & Demolition permit operation throughout the company, achieving the highest standard of compliance and performance.
• Setting the highest standard of environmental performance and compliance

The Person:

• Ideally the person will have an environmental qualification withsome experience.
• A driving licence will be required, as a company vehicle is supplied
• Experience of Soil sampling an advantage.
