Contracts Manager – Quarrying / Building Materials

Our clients, a major supplier of Limestone Building products in the midlands, are looking to recruit an experience Contracts Manager. To join their team.

The Role:

• Day to day planning and coordination of blacktop laying operations.
• Coordination of contractors.
• Liaison with local authorities, key stakeholders.
• Pricing of road contracts / tenders.
• Assisting with general company administration.
• Preparation of final invoicing after project completion.
• PSCS role and its connected health & safety obligations.
• The role requires a high degree of flexibility and the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Management of quality of both projects and materials.
• Administration of NSAI certification.
• Management of sales and marketing.

The Person:

• 3^rd level qualification in a relevant discipline, Civil Engineering / Mineral Engineering,
• A working knowledge of coated materials is essential.
• Working knowledge of all office products / Auto-Cad.
• Experience as a Contracts Manager in a similar environment
• Experience of the quarry section an advantage.
