Bid Writer / Dublin with excellent hybrid option

Our client is seeking a Bid Writer to join their team. Dublin West.  Hybrid Option: 1 day office and 4 days home.  Salary: €40K – €50K plus benefits.

You will take responsibility for developing high-quality content and win themes to support exciting and challenging tender submissions; managing the full tender process from start to finish, in line with our internal bid governance.

This role will involve presenting bid content in a way, which pulls factual information gleaned from a variety of sources in a format which is both engaging and comprehensive to the reader, whilst remaining compliant to the tendering requirements.

Reporting into the Senior Bid Manager, you will work collaboratively with the business development team as well as the wider teams.  Collaboration among these teams is essential.

The Role:

• Produce professionally written content that clearly articulates company’s value proposition
• Articulate ideas and technical solutions within submissions in conjunction with operations teams
• Understand and present operational and commercial content in a way which is easily understood
• Work closely with the Bid Manager to assist in the development of model answers for a Bid Library
• Ensure tenders and business proposals meet all relevant specifications and are in line with the most recent research available and aligned with best practice
• Work within the Bid Team to generate collective new ideas
• Creating presentations as and when required
• Network and build relationships with internal stakeholders

The Candidate:

• Experience in bid writing or working as part of a bid team
• A good communicator with the ability to articulate requirements
• Creative with the ability to consider new ways of presenting content
• Strong organisational skills
• Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously, often with conflicting and tight timeframes
• Strong time and project management skills
• The successful candidate will have a strong eye for detail, grammar, and creativity
• Advanced MS Office Skills
