Our client is a leader in its field and is currently recruiting for an experienced AR Manager to lead a dynamic and expanding team.
This is a permanent role based in Tallaght Dublin 24. Salary is €70k plus benefits.
Credit Control / Systems
Manage the local accounts teams to ensure all cash is collected in a timely manner and to reduce the risk of bad debts
Put in place efficient and streamlined structures across the Group to ensure that credit processes are robust (e.g. implementing direct debit set ups, repayment plans, deposit structures, etc). This includes formal policies and procedures around debt collection that can be rolled out to the group.
Ensure all accounts are up to date and fully reconciled
Work closely with the accounts / administrative teams to drive the legal process for overdue accounts
Ensure invoicing of customers completed in a timely manner
Perform a review of internal systems across the group and make recommendations for efficiency improvements (e.g. automated billing runs, etc)
Provide the Group Finance teams with monthly/quarterly/annual reporting in line with deadlines laid out
Ensure documented process notes are in place for all procedures
Set realistic and challenging KPI targets for the accounts receivable teams and provide monthly updates on KPI performance to the CFO (examples include percentage of aged debt, debtors days, etc)
Maintain proper records of invoices, deposits and all other correspondence regarding debt collection
People Management / General
Put in place a high performing team to support the integration of the existing business units and to support the continued growth of the business.
Manage and support the Accounts Receivable teams across the group and ensure proper objectives, succession planning, etc is in place to support the ongoing development of the team
Ensure adequate training is in place for team members to allow them to perform all their duties to a high standard
Participate in finance meetings as and when required
Assist in other finance related projects as and when needed
Education & Experience:
Previous experience of working in a Plc environment an advantage
Experience of Navision an advantage
Efficient in MS office applications, including excel, word, etc. Skills on excel applications such as pivot tables, model building, etc an advantage
Proven ability to manage and work as part of a team,
Capable of working on own initiative,
Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management and presentation skills,
