Business Development Manager / Enterprise Sales

Our client is a global IT distributor seeking a BDM to join their team.  Salary: €60K – €65K with circa €20K ote plus benefits. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage key Enterprise partners in the region;
• Build revenue and non-revenue business plans with these partners;
• Provide ongoing sales and technical trainings to these partners;
• Build marketing plans to drive incremental sales pipeline and revenues with development funds;
• Partner with marketing and engineering teams to drive revenue growth;
• Carry quarterly and annual GP & revenue targets;
• Develop and maintain detailed account profiles including organizational charts for all accounts to be reviewed by management on a quarterly basis;
• Facilitate communication on strategic and tactical issues facing our clients and partners;
• Maintain continuity and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technical developments, and governmental regulations that effect target markets;
• Develop market strategies and goals for each product and service; understand the strategies, goals, and objectives of accounts;
• Lead and coordinate account strategy and tactics for sales support team (inside sales, technical, sales management);
• Take full responsibility for accurate sales forecasting by demonstrating in-depth knowledge of sales cycles from initial contact through the procurement process.

Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications:

• Strong proven Enterprise Storage Sales experience implementing an enterprise sales strategy and building sales and technical competencies;
• Comprehensive understanding of channel partners and a channel centric go to market approach;
• Knowledgeable in Complex Solution Sales methodology;
• Previous experience in selling enterprise storage, server and network infrastructure[1]based security appliances;
• Proven experience in Business Development;
• Practical knowledge of routing and switching products installed adjacent to the storage solutions;
• In-depth knowledge of how specific industries use enterprise server, storage and security solutions;
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills;
• A strong track record of overachieving sales targets in a consultative sales environment
