HR Generalist (L&D) – Retail

Our client is a long established organisation seeking a HR Generalist specialising in L & D to join their team working closely with colleagues on the delivery of the annual organisational L&D, Engagement and Development Plan.  €38K – €42K plus benefits.  

The Role:

• Work alongside the Head of HR and team on OD projects and initiatives
• Organising training and workshops and ensuring compliance is met in HR activities
• Partner with the business to ensure key training requirements are met, in-line with evolving needs.
• Coach and assist managers, at all levels, on a range of people and performance topics
• Managing contract reviews, holidays, leave and absences.
• Manage HR activities in line with legislation, processes and procedures
• Assist company policy queries, complying with legislation and ensuring consistency across the organisation.
• Assist with grievance & disciplinary and working closely with hiring managers
• Assist with new employee inductions.
• HR database/ HRIS management and producing reports as required.
• HR Generalist duties as they arise

The Candidate:

• HR generalist experience with L & D ideally from Retail Industry
• 3rd Level Degree
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Experience using database experience
• CIPD membership desirable
