Product Data Analyst / Dublin West

Our client is a very successful motor company who are fantastic to work with.  Seeking a Data Analyst who has been part of a Sales and Marketing environment.  Salary: €35K – €40K all doe plus benefits.  

The Role:

• Develop a customer centric approach to support with building the product marketing strategy.
• Manage the data and analysis that feeds a wide-ranging portfolio of high performing products from pre-launch to launch to lifecycle management, including grade strategy, pricing, competitiveness, customer insights, training, sales planning.
• Support Product Manager with collating market data to help train internal staff and network.
• Taking a customer-focussed view on this is essential.
• Be actively involved in validating Nett pricing analyses and feedback on all portfolio models with an ability to critically analyse the market using in-house and third party databases. Strong research and analytical skills are required.
• Ensure the car configurators for each model are up-to-date and relevant stakeholders are made aware of timelines for rolling out new configurations in line with lifecycle actions.
• Key support to the Product Manager in ensuring tracking of KPIs regarding segment share, mix, competitiveness are produced in a timely and accurate manner.
• Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment on ATL & BTL messaging.
• Liaise with Europe to ensure all required product planning documents are submitted in a timely manner and that department documents and folders are always up to date.
• Provide support to the Product Manager on other product related tasks when required.
• Critically review current product planning processes and oversee recommended changes.
• Proof-read and localise brochures and other product/marketing materials and training programs.

The candidate:

• Computer skills at advanced level for Excel – Power BI and/or SQL, Power-Point a plus
• Data visualisation experience. Examples preferred.
• Attention to detail critical with keen numeric and analytical ability.
• Project management capability and experience working to deadlines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills essential.
• Experience using reporting tools. Examples will be required.
• Strong understanding of technical/homologation implications
