Accounts Payable D12 Permanent

Our client is based in Willow Road, Dublin 12 and is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join their busy and expanding team.

This is a permanent role with a salary of circa €35k – €40k per annum depending on experience, hybrid working, 23 days holidays pa, (increasing to 25 days after 2 years service).

DUTIES OF THE ROLE  :

• Matching creditor invoices to related orders/PODs.

• Set up of vendor/creditor accounts (multi currency environment) on accounting system along with completion of supplier account forms.
• Processing Accounts Payable Invoices and Credit Notes.
• Processing invoices for subcontractors, ensuring correct Retention, RCT and CIS are applied.
• Ensuring the correct VAT treatment for invoices.
• Resolving invoice discrepancies
• Preparing and processing accounts payable payments to Vendors
• Processing Non Creditor payments
• Reconciliation of Vendor accounts
• Assisting in the preparation of creditor, expenditure and statistical reports

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE :

• Minimum 3 years accounts payable experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of processing RCT & CIS entries on ROS and HMRC an advantage
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Excellent MS Word & Excel.
